From my Oklahoma City postcard collection... The State Capitol Bank opened here on North Lincoln in 1964 and remains a bank today, although now an Arvest Bank. This is just north of the capitol complex. The building is still in good shape. Oklahoma City certainly has its' share of mid-century modern architecture probably beginning, at least in my mind, with the Arrows-To-Atoms project during the states' semi-centennial in 1957. The Church of Tomorrow also began around that time. [caption id="attachment_3767" align="aligncenter" width="640" caption="Bank of the Future As Seen From Above"][/caption]
